model-migration
Migrates an application's code, configuration and prompts from one model generation to a newer one, for any provider (OpenAI, Gemini, Mistral, open-weight models, frontier model families). Finds every model id, updates ids and request parameters (reasoning effort, thinking budget, max tokens, temperature limits, deprecated fields), then tunes prompts for models that follow instructions more literally, and compares outputs before and after.
When to use
Use when the user asks to "migrate to the new model", "upgrade the model version", "switch our app to the latest model", "update model ids in the codebase", "the new model overuses tools" or "our prompts behave differently after the upgrade".
Inputs and tools
The skill takes the request of the user in natural language: its frontmatter declares no argument. It declares no allowed-tools: the tools available are those of the agent that loads it, under the tool policy of the project.
